Lawrence Canto is born in 1995, he graduated in Multimedia Arts and Sciences from Mapua University in 2016 and has been participating in group exhibitions since 2015. In 2018 he was selected to participate in the International Biennial Print Exhibit: 2018 ROC at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art and had his first solo show Cyclic Redundancy at the Secret Fresh Gallery, in San Juan City, Philippines. Lawrence Canto is a multimedia artist, he combines painting, print, and video to create a more holistic experience in art. His unique approach to technology allows him to create different layers of meaning in his artworks and to enhance the possibility of painting and print. His artistic research focuses on human nature and mankind’s evolution in relation to his social and natural environment.
